Establishment

This Association was established in the Month of January 1984 with efforts of some like-minded social activists of the region and Registered on 16 January 1985.

Legal Status

The NAWPH is registered under: -

·       Societies Registration Act. 1860 (Section-XXI of 1860)

·       Mumbai Public Trust Act (Section 29 of MPA 1950)

·       Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA).

The On-going Activities like,

·       Vocational Training School for the Disabled, Amravati

·       Residential School for the Blind, Chikhaldara

·       School for the Deaf, Nagpur

·       Late G. Bijwe (Freedom Fighter) Residential School for the Blind, Daryapur

Are licentiates by the Government of Maharashtra i.e. The Commissionerate for Persons with Disabilities, Pune.

Recognition:
